We are pleased to announce that the Claremont Colleges shall be hosting the 12th Southern California Philosophy Conference 9:30am-6:15pm on Saturday, 7 November, 2009. Registration is free and open to students, faculty, postdocs and independent scholars interested in philosophy.
Located in the city of Claremont, approximately 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, the Claremont Colleges is a consortium of seven institutions: Claremont Graduate Graduate University, Claremont McKenna College, Harvey Mudd College, Pitzer College, Pomona College, Scripps College and the Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences.
More than 20 speakers in many areas of philosophy will be presenting, representing more than 15 Southern California colleges and universities.

Results with the student submitted paper will be announced by 9 October. Other details, including the precise schedule and location of talks will be announced on the website.
